Itinerário Sonoro - Jardim Botânico de Lisboa
REFUGIO NA CIDADE
Existem locais na cidade de Lisboa que servem de refúgio ao rebuliço que existe nas suas vias e ruas principais. Um desses lugares é o Jardim Botânico de Lisboa (JBL), mesmo no coração da cidade.
A sua sonoridade especial advém da condição de Jardim Botânico inserido no tecido urbano onde os sons dos animais que o habitam se conjugam com os sons dos visitantes e os outros sons urbanos.
No JBL temos a oportunidade de descansar e (re)acertar o compasso com um ritmo mais natural, e respirar e sentir o que nos rodeia. Percorra o Itinerário Sonoro calmamente e preste atenção à sonoridade da paisagem. Ao longo do trajeto existem cinco pontos de escuta sinalizados (ver o mapa). Em cada ponto de escuta encontra informação sobre a sonoridade da paisagem nesse local e a sugestão de uma atividade sonora para realizar.
O desafio do Itinerário é simples: descontrair e receber o que a sonoridade do JBL tem para lhe oferecer.
Os sons apresentados foram gravados no Jardim Botânnico de Lisboa, entre dezembro de 2021 e junho de 2023 e estão depositados no Arquivo de Sons Naturais do Museu Nacional de História Natural de Ciência da Universidade de Lisboa (MUHNAC-ULisboa).

HIDEOUT IN THE CITY
There are places in the city of Lisbon that serve as a refuge from the hustle and bustle that exist on its streets. One of these places is the Lisbon Botanical Garden (JBL), right in the heart of the city.
Its special soundscape comes from its condition as a Botanical Garden inserted in the urban fabric where the sounds of the natural world are combined with the sounds of visitors and other urban sounds.
At JBL we have the opportunity to rest and (re)set the pace with a more natural rhythm, take a breathe and feel what surrounds us.
Calmly walk the Itinerário Sonoro and pay attention to the sounds. Along the route there are five marked listening points, see the map. At each listening point you will find information about the soundspace in that location and a suggestion of a sound activity to carry out.
The Itinerário Sonoro challenge is simple: relax and receive what JBL's soundscape has to offer.
Sounds were recorded at JBL, between December 2021 and June 2023 and are deposited in the National Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Lisbon (MUHNAC-ULisboa) Natural Sounds Archive.
