Estamos bem no centro do jardim botânico, a vida lá fora é apenas um rumor distante. Aqui podemos escutar alguns sons característicos do jardim. A toutinegra-de-barrete anuncia a sua presença seguida por um melro ao fundo a cantar, em voo passam papagaios-de-colar enquanto um grupo de estorninhos assobia no cimo das árvores.
Por vezes, se a sorte estiver connosco, podemos ouvir um pica-pau-malhado a tamborilar com o bico num ramo morto de uma árvore, ou um chapim-azul a reclamar para si esta parte do Jardim.
Stairwell meeting point: Record and share
We are right in the center of the botanical garden, life outside is just a distant rumor. Here we can hear some characteristic sounds of the garden. The blackcap announces its presence followed by a blackbird in the background singing, in flight collared parrots pass by while a group of starlings whistle high in the trees.
Sometimes, if lucky, we may hear a great spotted woodpecker drumming with its beak on a dead branch of a tree, or a blue tit claiming this part of the Garden for its own.
